Embedding a Box Widget in a Page

This guide will walk you through the process of embedding a Box widget from your Box account on a Confluence page.

Make sure you have already given Box access to Confluence before proceeding.

Step-By-Step Guide

  1. Type {box-widget}.
    An Insert 'Box Folder Share Widget' Macro preview window will appear.

     

  2. Click on Search for Box Folder.
    A drop-down panel will appear with a text entry field.

  3. Start typing the name of the folder in your Box account that you want to embed on the Confluence page.
    A menu with available folders will be generated based on the text you type below the text field.


     
  4. Alternatively, you can click on the Folder Icon  to load the Folder Picker:



  5. Next, choose a level of Link Access. For more information on parameters, consult the box-widget macro reference page.

     

  6. Click Insert after you are done choosing your desired parameters.

  7. Save your Confluence page and you will see something like this:
