|Question:||Why can I select and resize input fields while using Scaffolding 4.0 and IE8/9?|
Scaffolding 4.0 renders control fields inside Confluence Editor. Confluence Editor does not allow actual input fields to be used inside it (such as textarea, checkboxes, etc). In order to overcome that, Scaffolding emulates input controls using editable div's inside an uneditable area.
Unfortunately, TinyMCE (Confluence editor) has an issue (see here) that makes editing scaffolding content inconvenient under IE browser. We are investigating multiple workarounds so that subsequent releases of Scaffolding 4.0 does not suffer from this issue.
