How to use the Team homepage template:
Step 1. State your team's name and its function
First thing first, you're going to need a name for your team. Next, state your team's mission statement followed by a brief introduction. Link related blogs as reference.
Step 2. Introduce your members
What's the most important part of a team? Its members of course! List your team members on this page, and ask them to add their best pictures. If you want to keep things casual, you can even ask them to put in photos of themselves doing something fun. Now, people will know who your team is, with the added benefit of getting their names and faces out there within the company. For larger teams, it will surely prove useful to new members in getting to know the rest of the team. When they first join the team, they're probably nervous enough already, the last thing they need is to call their own team members the wrong names!
Step 3. Embed relevant team info and links
Include the communication channels your team uses. This can be used by others to reach out to your team too. The Featured resources section says it all. This is where you can refer to other documents that highlight what your team is focused on or anything else that can provide background about current goals or projects.
Step 4. Show off your team projects
List the important projects the team is working on and link the necessary documents or pages for those projects. This will prove especially handy when people want additional information about the project.
